Published by Liverpool University Press, on behalf of the Voltaire Foundation, Oxford University Studies in the Enlightenment is well-known as being the foremost series devoted to Enlightenment. Covering wide-ranging aspects of the eighteenth century and the Enlightenment, it publishes scholarly work in English or French across a broad range of disciplines: History, History of ideas/Philosophy, History of the book, Theatre, Literature, Visual arts & Music, Science & Economics and Women’s studies.

Correspondences

The Voltaire Foundation publishes in hardback and online the correspondences of key French thinkers of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, including those of Voltaire, Rousseau, Bayle, Graffigny, Morellet and La Beaumelle.

Electronic Enlightenment

With 79,254 letters and documents and 10,232 correspondents as of Winter 2018–2019, Electronic Enlightenment (EE) is the most wide-ranging online collection of edited correspondence of the early modern period.
