Ranjit Majumdar

Ranjit Majumdar is the Strategic Advisor for Development at the Voltaire Foundation.

He also leads Global Leaders Consulting, a global practice that works with universities and research institutes across a range of international development and public policy areas. He studied Philosophy and Theology at the University of Oxford and subsequently spent seven years in leadership roles across Oxford and Cambridge.

His clients include Oxbridge and Russell Group universities, as well as international institutions such as the European University Institute (EUI) and the Hertie School. He also works with multilateral organisations and INGOs, including UNICEF, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), the Fund for Global Human Rights, and the African Population and Health Research Center.

He has two young daughters and is an avid enthusiast of Enlightenment thinkers, particularly Voltaire and Rousseau.
