Dan Barker

Dan Barker graduated from the University of Leeds with a BA (Hons) in French and Portuguese. He specialises in metadata and content model design for academic and scholarly publishing, and has been collaborating with the Voltaire Foundation on the development of Oxford University Voltaire since 2018. He was a keynote speaker for the conference “Cartographies de Voltaire au Portugal et ailleurs” at the University of Coimbra in 2025, and recently published, with Nicholas Cronk and Glenn Roe, Digital Scholarly Editing in Practice with Cambridge University Press.
